Cry For Help

This is a first-ever personal response to someone looking for a little help, a little guidance in a world that is probably spinning out of control.

Someone in Todd, NC, came to this site via this google: "coffee makes me feel bad". Has there ever been such a cry of anguish? I feel so much compassion towards this individual. I want to send back some good karma, warm vibes and caffeinated bliss.

Usually, I’ve got two pieces of advice. The first is to purchase a french press – the first link in that google pretty much says the same thing. The press doesn’t have the bitter taste and the brew is more full-bodied. If coffee just tastes bad, then this will produce your first near-perfect cup. If it actually makes you feel bad, then the second thing is to try decaf Rubikstable(there’s no other reason for decaf) – if you like the taste but your system doesn’t like the aftermath, then finding that perfect blend of decaf to 1/2-caf to half-and-half or whatever might be the fix. Don’t stop – find that good unhurtful cup of coffee that will bring good mojo and warmth all over.

Then there’s this Rubik’s coffeetable, also accessible from that google search above. If you can’t drink coffee, then maybe a cool coffeetable will sooth some of the angst.

I hope that whoever came through, whoever in the world was looking for some love and compassion over this java abnormality, will find some solace in a french press, in (oh yuck) decaf blends, or in a really slammin’ coffeetable.

You’re welcome.
