seven things

January 14, 2009

Tagged by Jewles to post "seven things about me" – which I think I will now make up:

My number one superpower is sarcasm. A close second: meat vision.
Growing up in the Catskills, I found that living among the wolves and woodland faeries was just as politically skewed as living with humans. You'd think otherwise, but [...]

6 Quirky Things

October 8, 2008

I was tagged by Jennifer – so here are six quirky things you may or may not know about me:

Fridge with Magnets

September 7, 2008

This is in response to Kyle’s call for photos of our refrigerator magnets. All those little Nickelodeon word/sentence builder magnets. All over the bleeping fridge.
The only way my wife will let me post a photo of our fridge is if I promise to cleanup the magnet explosion – so expect a followup sometime later this [...]

Dinner Conversation

July 28, 2008

Intriguing question from Anne Jackson’s blog this morning:
if you could have dinner with anyone (besides jesus)…who would you have it with, and where would you have it?

I’d have to say lunch with John Adams and Ben Franklin in a pub somewhere in Boston or Philadelphia in the spring of 1776 would be my choice.
Yours?

Professional Development

June 4, 2008

Tagged by Blake, who needs "professional development" to compensate for the extra time he apparently has on his hands.
DirectionsSummer can be a great time for professional development. It is an opportunity to learn more about a topic, read a particular work or the works of a particular author, beef up an existing unit of instruction, [...]

Favorite Restaurant?

May 28, 2008

Taking a moment to participate in Randy Elrod’s Water Cool Wednesday – today, asking about "your favorite restaurant". That’s a tough one – as a family of four, it’s usually take-out or drive-thru, terrible I know. But if we’re going out, I think I’d have to say my favorite place is D’s Wings in [...]

Here’s one I saw on a few blogs through my google reader, so I decided to post mine and pass it along.
